SARAL™Cervical Fixation system consists of plates and screws of various lengths and sizes. The purpose of the SARAL™ Cervical Fixation system is to provide stabilization during the development of a solid spinal fusion, one of the goals of a cervical plate is to improve initial stability in the post-operative period and to result in a faster return to normal activities. In addition, anterior cervical plate fixation can potentially decrease the complications of graft dislocation, and late kyphotic collapse.

The SARAL™ system is available in a variety of sizes for 1 to 4 levels of cervical fusion. The SARAL™ Cervical Fixation system components are made from titanium alloy (Ti-6Al-4V) confirming to ASTM standard F-1717.

The Cervical Fixation system, SARAL™ is intended to provide immobilization and stabilization of cervical posterior spinal segments in skeletally mature patients as an adjunct to fusion in the treatment of acute and chronic instabilities or deformities of the cervical spine.

Key Features & Benefits

  • Unique Locking System: locking mechanism ensures stable locking of the cervical screws in the plate
  • Low profile: preserves tissue
  • Angular modulation of the screws: allows optimized load sharing and better seating of the plate.
  • Less number of components: saves surgery time and cost

Intended Use/Indications
Indication for use includes:

  • degenerative disc disease
  • Spondylolisthesis
  • Trauma
  • Spinal Stenosis
  • Tumor
  • Pseudoarthrosis
  • Failed previous fusion
